What up?

So, I just wanted to take this oppertunity to thank all of you for following @UKHonorSociety on twitter. It's nearly 2010 so I thought it right for me to thank you for all your support this year.


When I started this twitter account in August, I NEVER expected the reception to be as great as it was. Within the first 2 weeks I had 150 followers which was CRAZY. And now, I have nearly 450 which I can't thank you enough for! :) I'm sure if Honor Society were here, they would be thanking you too! :D


We've got to experience some AMAZING milestone's in Honor Society's career and, although we couldn't physically be there, we were 110% there in spirit, showing our support.

• We've got to see them open for the Jonas Brothers in front of 10,000's of people every night whilst performing in their own headlining tour.
  
• We've got to see them get signed to Jonas records.
  
• We've seen release of their debut album, Fashionably Late, and bought it to show how much we support them over here in the UK.
  
• We've got to see them embark of the first half of the Fashionably Late tour this Autumn


• We've seen several live chats


• We've seen them make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel


• We've seen them make 3 music videos.


• We went to see Bandslam because their song played in the credits


• We've seen them make their film debut in Alvin and the Chipmunks 2; (and some of us went to see that film JUST to see them in the first 3 minutes and then again to see their names in the credits!)


• We've even got a shoutout, LIVE on a Canadian radio interview; "Your fan club in the UK is listening online.." ;)

2009 hasn't been the best year for me but witnessing the perserverance of Honor Society has helped me along. As has the support all of you are showing them. I have been a fan since September 08 and I am LOVING how things have changed for them in a year. I don't mind if you have been a fan since 08 or a fan since Novemeber 09, the thing I love is that you are a fan and are showing them support by buying their album and by following this twitter.

I hope that in 2010 our support and love is rewarded by finally getting to see them live in concert. If they came to the UK next year it would truely be the best thing EVER. :) So, once again, thank you everybody. I know sometimes I get carried away and tweet LOADS and then there are days when you don't hear from me at all but thank you for sticking with me.

I wish everybody a VERY Happy New Year and hope your 2010 is magic! :)

ANDREW'S BIRTHDAY!

NEW CHALLENGE

Ok...this is our biggest challenge yet.

We all come from all over the UK and Ireland right? And I told you you'd NEED to know the Honor Roll, right? Do you see where I'm going? NO? Read on....

I want you guys to grab a group of friends (or go solo) and film yourself doing the Honor Roll where you live ;)

You live in London, go to Big Ben and Honor Roll....or the London Eye, or Buckingham Palace....GET MY DRIFT?

Go to a landmark or an area in your town/city and HONOR ROLL.

This will be open for a while so no rush but I WANT YOU TO DO IT.

I'm going to send it to Honor Society so they can see how enthusiastic we are ;)

Now, my NEWCASTLE AND BIRMINGHAM CREWS, I was thinking we could meet up at the venues and HONOR ROLL TOGETHER?

But, I also wanna see you crew memebers doing another Honor Roll if you can!

So I didn't blog for what...9 days?

But I missed writing Honor Society news so I'll keep the blog going for a while yet....Even if no one reads it :P

So yeah....Honor Society are on Tour at the moment!

Apparently it's awesome which is no suprise ;)

I promised a challenge when we reached 300 followers and I ALWAYS keep my promises so the challenge will be appearing here later today and it is AWESOME :D (Well, I think so anyways :P)

Ok then....

So, this will probably be my last blog entry for....

...well, we'll see if I do another one.

No one seems to read it anyways so there is no point??

I have only had just over 50 views on this blog, I have posted 16 entries and I have over 260 followers so, you do the math.

If anything PARTICULARLY exciting happens then I MAY write a blog entry. Either that or you message me telling me you like the blog (which is probably not going to happen considering this will probably not be read).

So I don't really think that this is worth my time uploading screenshots from live chats and album reviews and Honor Society appearances if no one is going to read them.

I'm starting Uni again on the 28th so I guess this time I thought was for you guys could be put to better use?

Live Chat and Fashionably Late EARLY??!?!

Hey!

So last night was exciting. Honor Society posted, on their My Space, THEIR FULL ALBUM. We're talking FULL TRACKS. ALL. OF. THEM.

Now, if you are waiting until Tuesday to hear them, I respect your self control but I for one, do not possess such control. I listened. Several times. And all the tracks are amazing. I will give you my opinions on each one here;

OVER YOU = We've all heard it and loved it and you don't need me to tell you that is it amazing!! :D

FULL MOON CRAZY = Incredible!! I now know why they called their tour Full Moon Crazy :P

MY OWN WAY = Is SO good. It's slow paced but FANTASTIC. <3

TWO REBELS = OK, I'm going to try not to write and essay here but it. is. AMAZINGGG! Actually!! 2 Rebels has ALWAYS been my favourite Honor Society song since I first heard it and I LOVED it acoustic. I was thinking, "How are they going to make this any better?" But, guess what, THEY DID!!! IT IS SO SO GOOD! At the bit at the start where Michael says, "Let's go!" Yeah, I think I died a wee bit :D

WHY DIDN'T I = They have taken an old school Honor Society song and made it sound better. Again, a slower paced song but it is just as good as the up tempo ones. = <33

GOODNIGHT MY LOVE = A-MAZ-ING!! It is another slow song but is the MOST GORGEOUS SONG EVER and I am IN LOVE WITH IT!!!! :D:D:D <33333

HERE COMES TROUBLE = LOVE THIS SONG! The chorus is amazing and the beat is SICK!!! Enough said :D

SEE U IN THE DARK = Bigger and BETTER. It's like Honor Society's anthem and once you hear it you just want to be up Honor Roll-ing! (And most of the time, I am!!)

NOBODY HAS TO KNOW = OK. This song is a contender for my FAVOURITE Honor Society song! It has a FANASTIC rock sound to it and the line, "I said I'm Mike and Honor Society's here, we'll rock this party all night!" Is my new FAVOURITE LINE EVER!!!!!! :D:D:D One of the most AMAZING songs I have EVER heard!!!

SING 4 U = You have all heard it and loved it and it is SO SO GOOD. Actually. Another favourite of mine. And again, the line, "I'll sing for the one's who've fallen, I'll sing when there's nothing left to lose.." I loved that when it went all slow, especially after the guitar bit before. OHMYGOD LOVE IT!

ROCK WITH YOU = I love this song! It's so hard to describe what it sounds like...it's just a mixture of EVERYTHING. From Michael talking at the start to "So buckle up your seatbelt and get ready for impact.." to "Gentlemen in the building.." IT'S JUST SO GOOD!!!! :D

DON'T CLOSE THE BOOK ON ME = OH. MY. GOD. FANTASTIC. From the piano chords at the start, to the lyrics to the "Woah, oh oh OH OH"'s it just sounds EVEN BETTER than the video's on Youtube when they sang it with the Jonas Brothers!

WHERE ARE YOU NOW = Again, you've heard it and loved it! Another great Honor Society song that is just WOW! I loved this song the minute I heard it and it's a great song to finish the album. :D

Ok, so sorry about the outbursts but I just wanted to let you know what I thought so PLEASE, comment here or message/reply me on twitter and tell me YOUR favourite song. I just CANNOT wait to have the album in my hand!

CONTEST EXTENSION!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while :D

Do you remember the contest? Well, I forgot the deadline was on Friday so I have extended it for another 2 WEEKS!!!

Which means, the deadline is now; SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER.

It has been extended for a while as I am heading on holiday on Friday until the 20th so when I come back I hope to see LOTS OF ENTRIES for me to judge.

I have already recieved some entries but not a lot so I want EVERYONE to get involved.

Your design doesn't have to be perfect. It doesn't have to be a Monet (sorry, I had to). I can be a rough sketch desgined on paint.
You don't even have to draw the t-shirt!! As long as you tell me what you want on the front and back.

I was thinking about adding the HS logo to the t-shirt design and "UK Honor Society" to it so everyone knows that UK HS fans do it best.

Okay. So I may have told you guys that there was a live chat TODAY but I got it wrong.

BUT. FEAR NOT!

Hey there!

So Honor Society were on z103.5 in Canada this morning and I hope you were tuned in online to hear them? :P

They had an interview, "Over You" was played and they performed an acoustic "Where Are You Now" which I thought sounded AWESOME!

HI THERE!

SORRY that this blog has not came sooner but I have been busy with other things and more importantly, JASON'S BIRTHDAY VIDEO which you guys will get to see on Wednesday. :D

So Honor Society wrapped up their second live chat this month and it was a good one! It was awesome for them to do one after their PACKED day so to the people on facebook who were complaining that they didn't answer enough questions or didn't stay for a full hour I will say this;

Full Moon Crazy

So Honor Society's Full Moon Crazy Tour is almost over and it looked like one AMAZING tour!From their shows to all their signings and PPPs it seems like they had an awesome summer. Let's hope that once this tour is finished they will think about bringing some of that Full Moon Crazy over to Europe and the UK!
